UV-C Air Sterilization Systems for HVAC Applications

UV-C Light

UV is Ultra-Violet light.UV signifies the frequency of light between 200 nanometers (nm) and 400nm and cannot be seen with the naked eye. The three bands of UV light are :

1. UV-A
   Long wave UV light (315nm to 400nm) which is called as “black light."
2. UV-B
   (280nm to 315nm) and midrange UV causes sunburn.
3. UV-C[Germicidal UV light (200nm to 280nm)] is used to control microbes. Research has showed that this band between 254nm and 265nm is the most efficient frequency for destruction of microbes. The most effective germicidal lamps that produce the majority of their output are in this range.

   The UV-C Air Sterilization System is designed to reduce airborne organic contaminants which pass through your ductwork throughout your facility and accomplishes the sun job indoors. It works efficiently and inexpensively and is designed to have a long life.
